FP&A Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA or Remote


Atlanta-based Tip Top Cocktails, an independent brand that produces classic cocktails in tiny cans, is one of the leaders in the #1 fastest growing adult beverage category. The team is looking for a multi-dimensional candidate to play a critical role in achieving scalability as we push towards best-in-class operations.

Tip Top’s ideal FP&A candidate will bring strong results orientation and will add structure and accountability to short-term and long-term financial planning processes across the organization. Comprehensive understanding of all key business levers is necessary to drive growth and profitability goals across not only Finance, but also Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain. Experience working in a high growth and fast-paced environment is vital. 


  • 4+ years’ experience in FP&A or equivalent in CPG (Bev-Alc preferred)
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting with the ability to build excellent models
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Ability to connect the dots across sometimes ambiguous data sources and become a reliable “source of truth” for business partners
  • Ability to adapt to change, effectively manage multiple tasks/projects, and provide timely feedback and visibility while keeping management aware of key issues
  • Meticulous organizational skills with attention to detail, logic and follow-through
  • Reliable and professional with the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality


  • Create and manage ongoing operating financial model broken out by market with relevant KPIs for Sales & Operations
  • Oversee and help prepare weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Review sales/margins by market, make recommendations to management on key focus areas to scale profitably
  • Assist in preparation of deliverables for Fundraise and independent audit 
  • Help achieve budget objectives by monitoring expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Manage quarterly and annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes, including interfacing with all areas of company management; establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans
  • Build ad-hoc "what-if" type analysis to support leadership decision-making and conduct program post-analyses to evaluate ROI
  • Support the establishment of pricing structures for new (and existing) SKUs and monitor margins, both historical and forward-looking
  • Compile manual velocity reports utilizing distributor portals until IRI/VIP is implemented in 2022
  • Support governance of brand pricing strategy and identification and implementation of revenue optimization opportunities including review of discounting practices 
  • Recommend cadence of purchasing of raw materials from a limited number of vendors through review of demand and purchase requisitions to meet company objectives and supplier requirements.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels by distributor via consistent review of inventory
  • Become an expert on Company inventory costing system and processes. Support leadership in investigating unusual or unexpected results caused by SKU costing.
  • Support Sales and Marketing planning activities to ensure goals and accountability are achieved across all markets. Apply competitive intelligence where customer data is ambiguous. Support the development of key presentations and business reviews with a focus on actions to improve margins for all stakeholders.
  • Review and inform management on Marketing & E-comm Metrics including velocity/PODs, re-order rates, CAC, LTV, MER/ROAS
  • Prepare ad hoc financial information and analyses as requested by senior management and the Board of Directors
