About The Company

Tip Top Proper Cocktails is an Atlanta-based prepared cocktail company.  The company co-founders, Yoni Reisman and Neal Cohen, are music festival industry veterans.  The impetus of the business came from the experience of wanting to serve quality cocktails efficiently at high volume music festivals.  They enlisted the recipe-design services of James Beard-recognized mixologist, Miles Macquarrie (Kimball House, Watchman’s), and launched their line of prepared cocktails in September 2019 in Georgia.  Tip Top is now available in GA, NY, FL, CO, in the skies on Delta Airlines, and online.  Our aim is to challenge the common convention of the bev-alc industry and, as a digitally native brand, the experience of buying prepared cocktails.  The category is booming, the niche Tip Top serves within the category (high proof, non-carbonated) is still not too competitive, the product line is expanding, and the potential is large.

About The Position

On the front lines with trade, Trade Experience plays a critically impactful role at Tip Top.  Externally, Trade Marketing works tirelessly to ensure we’re delivering on our promise. Internally, the role shares important insights that continuously improve our route to market and experience. As the Head of Trade Experience, you’ll be at the forefront of this — supporting a full-time supplier team to generate value for our retailers and inform many aspects of the company from marketing to experiential.


  • Lead and develop our existing Field Marketing Capabilities and communication
  • Ensure all distributor and key retailer requests and inquiries are resolved with a high degree of urgency and effectiveness
  • Identify and remove obstacles in the consumer journey and partner with cross-functional teams to implement positive and effective change
  • Pinpoint critical merchandising, point of sale collateral and trends to elevate the brand
  • Execute trade experience initiatives to drive engagement and lasting impressions 
  • Help develop innovative programs that empower the trade to be a proactive vs. reactive 
  • Manage annual US trade calendar and daily workflow to meet all trade engagement KPIs
  • Develop a multi-year trade strategy that creates value for retailers and enables Tip Top to scale responsibly and rapidly, in line with consistent 2x YoY growth 
  • Measure and report KPIs that drive accountability and performance regularly 
  • Work cross-functionally to improve the end-to-end customer journey
  • Determine annual budget and ensure financial accountability across the field marketing functions
  • Identify and implement technologies and tools that improve efficiency and effectiveness  
  • Foster a culture of optimism and continuous improvement


  • 3+ years experience in a field sales or trade/ field marketing role( preferably in BevAlc)
  • Demonstrates an ability to handle stressful situations with a professional and calm demeanor
  • You are friendly, empathetic, a good listener, and an advocate for our retailers and distributors – we strive to personalize our interactions as often as possible
  • Prior experience at a high-growth, e-commerce business strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise in BevAlc, including knowledge of trends and technologies that are shaping the four marketing P’s  - Price, Position, Place, Promotion.   
  • Track record of building high performance teams and driving results; experience and confidence managing direct reports of full-time, part-time, and outsourced resources
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional judgement
  • Possesses an aptitude for technology and above-average oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent and creative problem-solver with a “get it done” attitude
  • Must be self-motivated, hard-working, well organized and able to communicate within multiple audiences
  • Systems thinker skilled at reducing complexity and applying structure
  • Able to balance daily execution and performance with strategy development
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
