What’s the story behind Tip Top?

We believe good stuff should be accessible.

In our previous lives, we were music industry veterans behind some of the largest festivals in the country. Along the way, we saw the demand for quality cocktails growing, but the careful preparation required to make one made service in high volume environments pretty difficult. We fantasized about creating a world-class cocktail in an easy-to-serve vessel, thinking maybe we could help solve a problem for venues, events, restaurants, bars, airplanes, and regular folks at home on the couch. Eventually, we stopped fantasizing and started actually doing it.

Enlisting the help of our favorite bartender and James Beard finalist, Miles Macquarrie of Kimball House, we developed classic cocktail recipes and packaged them up to drink at any time and, just about, any place. Tip Top Proper Cocktails are always within reach, especially if a trusted bartender or fully-stocked bar are not.

How did you come up with your recipes?

We focus on classic cocktail recipes that we develop with our favorite bartender and James Beard finalist, Miles Macquarrie (Kimball House). The result is quality beverages that are always balanced, never too sweet, imminently portable and loyal to the way you would be served at the bar.

Will there be more cocktails added to your lineup?

Yes. The ideas don’t stop. Stay tuned for our next batch coming soon.

Does one can contain a full cocktail?

Yes. Each can is a single serving. These are high proof, non-carbonated cocktails that are fully prepared. Just pour over ice. You’ll quickly see that this is on par with the strength, size and quality taste you’d hope for from a well-equipped bar.

How should I go about placing a large order (ex. events, gifting, etc)?

How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping on orders over $99. For all other orders:

  • NY, NJ, MA, PA: $10 for orders up to $39.99
  • NY, NJ, MA, PA: $15 for orders between $40.00 and $98.99
  • All other regions: $5 for orders up to $99 or $10 for orders containing 18-packs.

Your product will be delivered straight to your door and any order containing alcohol will require an adult signature and ID check upon delivery.

Who will ship my product?

Orders containing cocktails are fulfilled by licensed 3rd party retailers in the Accelpay network. Retailers use a variety of fulfillment carriers including GLS and UPS.

Orders containing dry goods are fulfilled by our merch partner.

If your order contains both cocktails and dry goods, it will be sent in separate shipments.

What is the turnaround time between placing an order and receiving the order?

COCKTAILS
Orders are expected to be delivered within 7 to 10 business days from the order date, but can vary based on your location. This estimate accounts for our retail partners' fulfillment process, which usually takes 4-6 business days, followed by the ground shipping of 3-4 days.

MERCHANDISE
Orders are expected to be fulfilled within 4 business days from the time an order is received during non-holiday periods. During the holidays (November-December), we will make every effort to process and fulfill orders within 10 business days from receiving the order.

Do I have to be at home to receive my product?

Yes, someone 21 or older with a valid ID must be available to sign for the products.

Why is signature required for shipments?

By federal law, only individuals of 21 years and older are allowed to buy alcoholic beverages. Because the product is shipped or delivered, the carriers must make sure that the purchaser as well as the recipient, on his/her behalf, is 21 years and older. If no signature can be collected, the carrier will leave a notice for a second or third attempt or further shipping instructions. After that, the shipment will be returned to the sender at cost to the customer.

Can an order that has been shipped be tracked?

Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the carrier name, order and tracking number.

How can I get a refund?

COCKTAILS
You can request a cancellation or refund up until your product has shipped. Once your product has been delivered, our retailers are unfortunately unable to offer any refunds. If you are unhappy with the product or have any other concerns you can always reach out to info@tiptopcocktails.com.

DRY GOODS
In the event you are not satisfied with your Dry Goods purchase we provide a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your Dry Goods item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as it was when you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need your order number so we can confirm your purchase date. You can reach out to info@tiptopcocktails.com to initiate a return or exchange. *NOTE- this only applies to Dry Goods and does not apply to cocktails.

What do I do if my product is damaged, I received the wrong product or if my product never was delivered?

If your product was delivered damaged, if you received the wrong product or if you never received your product you can reach out to info@tiptopcocktails.com within 7 days of the date the product was delivered/scheduled for delivery and we will replace the product or issue a credit or refund depending on the customer's preference.

Where do you ship?

Our retail partners can fulfill orders in the US except for the following states:

Are your cocktails gluten-free?

Our cocktails are made with ingredients that do not contain gluten. However, they are not canned in a facility that is certified gluten-free.

Yes, all of our cocktails, including Espresso Martini, are dairy-free.

What's the expiration date?

Our cocktails are best enjoyed within 12 months. They can be kept at room temperature and we recommend pouring them over a full glass of ice for dilution perfection.

Are all of your cocktails Kosher?

Yes, all of our cocktails are OK Kosher certified.

Why is my store account is no longer working?

We recently updated our ecommerce platform. If you previously had an account, please follow these steps to reactivate your account:

1. CLICK HERE and create an account using the same email address you previously used when purchasing.

2. Check your Inbox for the Account Activation email. Select the Activate your account button in the email.

3. Once activated, your prior order history and information will be available.
