WHERE IT ALL CAME TOGETHER
Leyenda wasn’t just a bar, it was a room you wanted to stay in: warm, lively, and full of flavor in every sense. The Tia Mia, a mezcal-driven riff on the Mai Tai created by Ivy Mix, became one of its signatures early on. Now widely considered a modern classic, it brings mezcal smoke together with funky, fruity Jamaican rum, layered over citrus and almond. A small taste of a place that meant a lot to many.

PROPER ESTABLISHMENTS RELEASE NO. 1
Proper Establishments is our way of recognizing the bars that have shaped the way we drink today. Each release pays tribute to a place, the point of view it brought to the table, and the cocktail that carries it forward.

Tasting Notes

Smoked citrus, toasted almond, bright lime, and tropical depth.

“It was airy in there. Our doors opened up to the street. We put the bar right next to the windows. We did all these things to make sure people felt welcome.”
